did you parents value boys or girls more, or were they neutral. And, do you value one over the other in the context of having children?

My mum definitely favoured boys over girls. My dad on the other hand treated us equally. (I have two sisters and two brothers) I am yet to have children but when i do i will not do that to them.

My father valued girls more than boys and my mother and grandfather valued boys more than girls.

I was happy to have a healthy child no matter what the gender was.
