something isn't right, try to be able to have him open up to you. show him that you care and want to know what's wrong, that you want to be there for him if he needs you to be. some rebel because they do not feel open or safe

i think there has to be some rebellion in order to develop personal identity, even if there's nothing much to rebel against. you're a good mom. therapy will give you some perspective and tools to deal. hang in there!
