You should do what you need to do for both baby and you. If you felt you really needed the break, it’s better to ask for help instead of drowning in bad feels while sleep deprived
People handle things differently… you’re not a bad mom just because you admit you needed a break. Some people won’t admit that and lose their temper or just find themselves drained
I personally still have trouble letting my daughter stay at my mother’s. My son has never spent a night away from me. My new part time job is the most I really get away
