why do some women think its ok to put their careers before their children

my niece pratically doesnt even know who her mother is because she is away in the navy. my brother in law is pratically a single dad

And yet he married her and started a family with her, knowing he was going to be it. What is different between that and when a man gets deployed and leaves his wife and children at home alone? Your brother in law knew what he was getting into.

@TexChik act theyre not married it was a short term relationship that ended before she even knew she was pregnant. he took custody of his daughter cause it was better than her being raised on some military base.

@TexChik thats the issue she comes home a few times a year and hes twice taken their daughter to see her on base. his lil girl has started calling his gf momma
