Do parents betray their children?

@mysoulsays Some parents may have good intentions, but they impose their own bigotry, superstitions, and religious beliefs on their kids. I am thinking of a case where a child died because the family believed the child was "possessed", and conducted an "exorcism".

@chrisCA that's sceptical, the parents made an excuse of their beliefs, no parent would rush their child into "exorcism" since the one doing it would know if the child was indeed possessed, also if the parents did it themselves then who was there as an eyewitness and any such practitioner would and will have to be honest with this practice and exorcise only the one who is actually possessed

@mysoulsays The whole belief of possession is questionable. Like I said, superstitions.

Exactly right, unfortunately. So it’s hard to make a generalized statement. Some parents do betray their children. Some should never have been parents.
