I expect if their was no law things would be a lot worse, in some countries the parents sell thier kids into slavery.

@Justenjoyit You have some parents in Western developed countries who practically view their children as property due to their attitudes on the rights of children.

@chrisCA Maybe but the law at the end of the day is there to protect children, but what is law in one country is not in another.

@chrisCA this is surprising, western countries especially the developed ones are more liberal and free as i learned while travelling
