Your kids don't care how badly your heart hurts that you've failed them. They don't understand that the pain is absolutely crippling. They just want to be able to ride their new bike. That's why I've gotta pull my shit together and get the bike built. Because they deserve so much, and I have already cheated them.

Kudos to you…it’s even heavier when you have to lift the responsibility all alone. I remember admiring the soccer dads and thinking how lucky their wives must be to have such devoted fathers to their kids. 😔

As someone whose kids are now grown up, I can assure you that they know how much you’re sacrificing for them. Make sure your mom or dad or brother can help fill up that ‘other parents’ role in the meantime.

It’s ok…hire a babysitter once a week and give yourself a break or else you’re heading towards a burnout. 🤗🤗🤗

Remind yourself that this is a good time to teach the kids some daily routines. That’ll make them smarter, efficient and make your workload lighter. 💙
