@Niloo Sort of. I also grew up some 40 years ago in a very traditional Midwestern community, and had to hide who I was and stay in the closet. I fucked up at a homecoming party (went with a guy friend my Junior year and is the one and only time I’ve been drunk,) and hit on a Senior girl that I had a huge crush on and was very publicly denied and got to become the school lesbian. Ah, good times. Stuff was easier on the ranch, honestly. People fucking suck.

@Niloo oh my. good luck. I was so bull headed at her age. I almost didn’t get to graduate because I staged a walk out at my high school my senior year, over a social justice issue they weren’t taking serious. It was touch and go, wether I’d get to graduate at all. 😬
