Believe me, it is not what it seems like.
I don't talk to my parents but I am still dependent on them in a way. Like this past day of being angry, all my thoughts been about my shiiiit father who I haven't spoken to in more than 15 years.
Everyone has their issues. No one is perfect and completely independent or even [i]always [/i]smart.
And being autistic doesn't make you any worse. It's just society is tailored in a way that only caters to the neurotypical.

As independent as i make out to be.
I miss my mummy. And yes I still call her mummy when i talk to her.
As strong as I make out to be. I'm a little girl inside.
As clever as I think I am. I am a fool most of the time

I’m autistic and I feel you but that shouldn’t stop you from being independent. It doesn’t make us any different. Sometimes I feel like people think I need help just because I’m “autistic” but it isn’t true. I mean I may need guidance to some things. I’ll still learning how to take care of myself. You will get there.
