Duh. If you can't be family to your offspring when they need it, don't fcking make them in the first place.
Scarlett · 18-21, F
@assemblingaknob but my family said that they're kicking me out when I'm 18 and that they won't even care if I die on streets T_T I'm scared.
assemblingaknob · 26-30, F
@Scarlett dude... Will you be on the streets?
Scarlett · 18-21, F
@assemblingaknob probably T_T no money or job or anything T_T
assemblingaknob · 26-30, F
@Scarlett dude. Are you done with high school?
Scarlett · 18-21, F
@assemblingaknob almost ;_;
@Scarlett That's a bit harsh. How the hell are you supposed to operate that way? Just the changes from cootie-19 alone make it impossible to just change everything in your life in one big go.
Scarlett · 18-21, F
@UnderLockDown IDK T_T my family hates me so much ever since I told the school therapist how they treat me at home T_T
assemblingaknob · 26-30, F
@Scarlett Have you applied for any courses after high school?
Scarlett · 18-21, F
@assemblingaknob I applied to university T_T and they say I'mma have to pay myself. So I apply for scholarships T_T
Scarlett · 18-21, F
@assemblingaknob if I have to go for student loan, I might as well just start working instead of going to school.
assemblingaknob · 26-30, F
@Scarlett What about courses that give certificates so you can get a job which could then afford you your uni fees?

Also side note: they probably won't really kick you out but just want you planning ahead like an adult.

@Scarlett sorry to jump in, have looked into apprenticeships?
Scarlett · 18-21, F
@assemblingaknob They will T_T they've been saying my entire life that I'm shouldn't be here, they regret having me and that their job is done once I turn 18 and can f off T_T and that they have no obligations according to the government...etc
Scarlett · 18-21, F
@maturedragon o_O nuh-uh how does that work?
maturedragon · 26-30, M
@Scarlett An apprenticeship is a program that trains a worker to become skilled in a particular trade. Apprenticeships combine hands-on work with classroom learning to train the apprentice. Apprenticeships are considered full-time employment. As the apprentice is learning, they are also applying the lessons through working - copy and pasted
Scarlett · 18-21, F
@maturedragon that's actually sounds better than going to university lol.
maturedragon · 26-30, M
@Scarlett yep, I'm looking to go into one myself, while university is good and gives a higher qualification to get more jobs I guess an apprenticeship is a bit more guaranty to get a job I think?
maturedragon · 26-30, M
@Scarlett wait, I was thinking from another post you only have a few more months until you're 18 right?.... so you have to try and find something fast? never mind, I hope you find something that you will like, and a save future
Scarlett · 18-21, F
@maturedragon yeah :/
maturedragon · 26-30, M
@Scarlett good luck
Scarlett · 18-21, F
