I would tell them to do their homework first, then their chores because I kind of think homeworks a little more important...in my opinion that is

Me too, I think homework has more priority than some chores, of course vacuuming, mowing the lawn, and raking are essential to home life, but how can one do chores without making the potential to owning a home :/

As a person who is forced to only do homework, I would say I would let my children do both, but both need to be done by the end of the day. If you tell your child to only work on homework, they might become a workaholic. They need to learn how to manage personal responsibilities as well or else they'll think someone else will clean the toilet for them as they do their own homework. Don't end up like me :P

I'm a person forced to do chores, then homework, not much time to study and complete assignments :/

@JShamp: More to the point, what's most important should be what a parent or guardian says is most important!

No chores come after homework, but before Pretty Little Liars marathons on Netflix, that is where my stepdaughter gets confused.
