What is a fair punishment for a teen found playing with firecrakers?

My stepmom found me playing with firecrakers in the kitchen and I got punished. :(

Were you lighting firecrackers in the kitchen? If so, that's definitely unsafe. Those things belong outside. How were you disciplined?
