Seen Parents Suprised Their Kids Hate Them?

It’s so weird to see when parents will treat their kids like absolute shit, then when the kids old enough to leave. They are dumbfounded when their kids wanna never see them again or hate them. It’s so entitled.

This happened with my step mom. I finally told her that I’d never seen us having a relationship in my adult life because of the things she allowed & how she treated me. I explained I only wanted a relationship if it was going to be one of boundaries, respect & love. I wouldn’t tolerate anymore manipulation or mistreatment. We are closer now than we ever have been. Some people are capable of change if they want it.
