Women; how many of you were scared of having a kid?

For a bit I wanted a kid. (Not anytime soon I’m still young) but then the idea of giving birth scared me. Especially whenever there’s a scene in a movie or show it always looks so painful and stuff. How did you get over it? Was it really that bad? Or what made you change your mind?
