What would you do if your child falsely reported you for abuse?

Have you ever heard those stories where some teen gets upset because mom/dad didn't let them do something, so they called the child services and falsely claimed abuse? Would you be able to forgive your own kid after that?

when my eldest daughter had missed behaved and i told her she was going to be spanked. She said if i did she would tell my teacher i had done things to her. I not only gave her a long hard spanking but her mother told her if she lied to people and got me into trouble she would be out of the family and on her own.
