What would you do if your child falsely reported you for abuse?

Have you ever heard those stories where some teen gets upset because mom/dad didn't let them do something, so they called the child services and falsely claimed abuse? Would you be able to forgive your own kid after that?

In grade school i knew a girl that did this.
A few times.
They finally had enough and gave her up to the state.

Me though? I could forgive them. I'm pretty laid back like that. But for a time we would have a very strained relationship. Their life would also become very mundane and only as interesting as their imagination since all of my extra money would be going to their therapy and a caregiver to babysit them. wouldn't want me to be alone with them without a third party around.
