Schizophrenics... how long do your delusions last ? On a normal basis

I still have whispers... but I can ignore them until they get too loud. The hallucinations were different, though. There’s really no ignoring that shit.

@DarkHeaven How do you know it's delusion and not just normal anxiety or something like that. When I was younger a lot younger low single digits I thought God was going to take me to heaven or tell me to do something. And when I got older someone gave my dad cupcakes and I wouldn't eat them because when he was telling the story of how he got them I saw the guy poisoning them in my minds eye. I was also convinced that my dad was cheating on my mom a couple of times and once I thought my brother in-law was going to try and kill my Dad but he was just asking for my sister's hand in marriage. This is kinda weird to ask but is that what delusions are to you?

@Lostpoet I spent a long time in a psych ward. There’s no doubt. Please don’t make me go in to all this. It’s private and it hurts a lot. Usually I stay away from these posts because I don’t like the questions that I end up getting. I’m not answering more.

@Lostpoet that's scary stuff . I had an hallucination about a week ago for 3 weeks without me known it and I thought it was the meditation that done it to me but it was the meditation helping me cause when I started to meditate it was telling me how busy my mind was .

@DarkHeaven ok. 🤗 And you are good you have a good gf and I'm happy seeing that you are getting your life back on track I'm the last person in the world that wants to see you ever go through a relapse again.

@riseofthemachine But Isn't that normal don't 90% of people have that complaint that they can't shut their mind off?

@Lostpoet the whole world have it in my eyes . I think it's a spiritual thing and I believe it either brings you close or pushes you away from God . You dont have to take on my beliefs .
I'm after searching in books about it especially with the soul and why I came to believe it was spiritual was the emptiness of the soul when it happens and I think God has to fill it
