I wish my professor would be my father

My father has never really cared much about me and I've always missed a father figure in my life. I will be starting my PhD in a few months and my future supervisor kind of became that for me. I've been at this university for the past 4 years and have taken (because of my interests) many seminars he was teaching, leading to me also writing my master thesis in his group. I've seen how he behaves toward other PhD students and coworkers in the group and now also towards me, as he needed to keep more distance when I was just a master student. His personality is exactly as I've always wished my father would be like and I'm a little bit jealous on his two sons.
