Do you feel that your mom did not give you the attention you deserved as a child?

As a child, no. But I feel like my parents had no idea how to raise a teenager. They never got the memo that the more of a helicopter parent you are, the more your kid will probably push you away and not want to talk to you about anything. The whole "freedom" thing just never clicked with them 😒

I didn't get any attention at all. It took a suicide attempt to make them talk to me without them being drunk or stoned. Good times.

My mum died when i was 5. Adter that i shared my step mum with 3 younger brothers. Never enough time for me :(
