Parents, how did you handle becoming an empty "nester"?

My daughter will be completing her Freshman year of college and transferring to a different college in March. As of now she lives at home, when she changes colleges, she will be thankfully only 4 hours away. She is the last of my 3 children to leave. For parents with children, how did you handle becoming empty "nesters" as they say.

We went to Disney World. Got away and actually reacquainted without the distractions. It was like starting a new life together.

@SageWanderer Glad you got reacquainted and all is well

@thetucker All isn’t well now with medical issues but that trip after our last one left did a lot to reset us. It’s a change without a house full and retirement.
