Who taught you to drive?

Gotcha. Yeah, my mom had absolutely no interest in teaching my brothers and I how to drive. @hami1091

@hami1091 🤔...That same summer, my two friends and I were joy riding in my friends dad's Chevy, we were all in eighth grade and we got pulled over by an off duty cop. He started yelling at us asking us what we thought we were doing. He followed us back to my friends house and watch us put the car back in the garage, then drove away. We never got in trouble for that experience. that was almost 50 years ago. lol

@Jimmy2016 Similar things happened in my small neighborhood growing up.

@indyjoe I took drivers Ed in school too but already knew how to drive at my school it was a requirement if you wanted to drive to school.

@hami1091 I never drove to school....didn't even have a car to drive until after I graduated (mom and dad always used theirs).

@hippyjoe1955 My parents let me drive around on an old lawn mower with no blade when I was 10 surely not as impressive as a tractor at 5 :)

@hami1091 I'd sit on my dad's lap and steer when I was young. lol so illegal now, probably was then too 😂

@SW-User I remember doing that when I was really little too, great memories. :) I actually learned to drive by myself in a field before I graduated to road a few years later.

@hami1091 my mom did the most of it tho. My dad kinda rushed me and had me drive on a busy street before I was 'ready' lol
