Fathers, would you be comfortable with your 19 year-old daughter dating while she still lives at home?

She'll always be your little girl, but you have to let her grow up.

19.. at home..
I’d feel like I failed.
Time to kick them out the nest.
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout Why would you feel like you failed?
@DreamyCrush
When I was 19 it was shameful to stil be at home at 19..
ppl that age faught wars..
You should want your own space and responsibilities.. and it’s our job as parents to install this on them..
you don’t want your kids dependent.. self sufficiency is their best hope ✌️
@DreamyCrush also on a lighter note.. after 20 years I wanna walk around my own house naked and have my own space 😎
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout Totally. I left home at 19, and had my own place by 21 [Naked Time, All the Time].

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout in other words you were tormented with the social pressure that you had to be self sufficient at a time it's near impossible to be such and now feel a bit mad over that this social pressure no longer exists for the new generations, which is unfair, so instead you try to keep it alive...

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout I’m older than you and I was wrapping up freshman year of college, at home, when I wax 19. No shame there!
