I am a mixture of both. I can be very outgoing and charming, as my father was, when company was around. I have a temper, as he did, but I keep it well leashed, as he did. I do not like confrontations, have a horror of rude behaviour, and would rather go and hide in my room or go for a drive than fight in my own home, so I am like him in that respect.
My face and voice are a little bit like my mother's, and I am like her in that I would rather not do housework if I can avoid it. She was something of a wallflower when company was around, and although she laughed and seemed delighted with other people's jokes, she had very little wit. I can be quiet, as she was, and just sit back and appreciate other people's wit, but I behave that way when I am worried about the company, or when I don't feel safe.
