If you had no kids of your own. Would you put some money aside for your Niece and Nephews?

$10 a week might not seem like much But I have been putting it aside for each of my Brothers kids since they were born. Might be worth a down payment on their first car when they turn 18.

I think it's great that you do that. Props to you. I'm sure the kids will be delighted about that. :)

I don't have that much leftover money once bills are paid and a minimum is set aside for emergency savings. I'm already postponing buying things I should have gotten a long time ago. It may be selfish of me, but the little I do have leftover I use to treat myself.

My sibling and the other parent of the one I'm uncle for are separated. As much as I love the kid, my sibling alone earns about double what I do so I honestly don't feel that bad about not setting aside money for the kid.
