is this normal for old age?

My father lately is very argumentative..Almost like he just want to disagree with everything I say or have different opinion
He is giving me the shits

I don't want to be alarming but personality changes are sometimes an early sign of Alzheimers (not even going to look up the correct spelling, you know what I mean...)
