How would you go through the pain of losing your loved ones?

I had a nightmare where my brother is dying and it kept me awake for the whole night. I always wondered if the idea of losing someone makes someone upset, how would someone go through it if it actually happened to them?

you must be pretty young because for us older folk this has likely happened already to someone we know. You get through it because you can’t lay down and die with them. Life goes on. No one who dies wants the living to die with them. .

@DoubleRings yeah I am in my late twenties. Only person that I knew who died was my grandfather. We weren't that close but I am sad that he's gone
