Is mouthsoaping or hotsaucing a better punishment?

I had mouthsoaping, I'd of rather had the hotsauce.

My grandmother used to threaten me saying that if I continued to talk back or to be disrespectful, she would rub my mouth with red pepper. She did not do it ever, but I tried once to see the effects and, believe me, I restrained since then to talk back to her.

not for me it isn’t my mom used to use hot sauce when I used to talk back or swear and I just sat there like nothing in fact my old teacher did that to me once and I ended up just grabbing the bottle from her and drinking it whole
