Is this wrong?

To introduce my 7 year old to my new partner of 6 months and for my ex to do the same (Hers is the affair partner of which our marriage ended). We split officially in July. Ex stayed with her affair partner, I got with someone new a few weeks on. We are both very happy but a friend has made it clear she doesn't agree with what we are doing.

It's not wrong if you intend to be with your partner for any length of time. Children are very adaptable in most situations as long as they aren't harmful. Both you and your ex are moving on so your child should be able to spend time with both couples. What was past is past. I am of the opinion that children can never have to much love. Tell your friend you don't agree with her opinion and move on.
