Is this wrong?

To introduce my 7 year old to my new partner of 6 months and for my ex to do the same (Hers is the affair partner of which our marriage ended). We split officially in July. Ex stayed with her affair partner, I got with someone new a few weeks on. We are both very happy but a friend has made it clear she doesn't agree with what we are doing.

You both have a duty of care to your 7 year old, it is wrong IMHO to lay blame to either party for the break up of your relationship. You both have a right to fulfilling relationships and your child has a right to a relationship with both parents and their partners.
