What christmas traditions should i start with my family

If I had this to do over again...

TOGETHER stuff - stringing cranberries and popcorn for the tree...make it a family celebration with homemade hot chocolate & lots of extra popcorn.

Designing the family Christmas card together - original artwork, poems, photos encouraged.

Making cookies. Building a gingerbread house.

Walks around the neighborhood or drives around the city to see the lights.

Watch the same classic movie every year - serve favorite snacks and more hot chocolate.

Sometimes the easiest mean the most. I always served fresh baked breakfast roll on Christmas morning.

Be with them. No internet or social media, no phones. Just quality in person time.

I always bought my son and ex husband Christmas PJs and gave it to them on Christmas Eve. They would wear them Christmas day as well.
