Why do some people try making parents feel bad for being single?

When many single parents are happy along with their children?
SN: There's no glory in putting other people down so you might feel superior.

A happy single parent is way better for the children than an unhappy couple.

@SW-User This is so true! That's why I got a divorce. I didn't want my daughter growing up seeing two people at each other's throats. And even if we didn't argue in front of her, you can't fake being happy, living in a toxic environment.

@zeeva70 As a kid who grew up in an environment of domestic violence i can say for certain you did the right thing. Kids are really susceptible to negative emotions, some more so than others.
