When is the right time to stop breastfeeding?

Hi there fellow mum's, currently I'm breastfeeding my 2 babies who are now 14 months. With my eldest he stopped being breastfed shortly after he turned 1. The twins still grab at my top/bra etc when they are hungry so I would guess they are still needing milk.

What age did you stop breastfeeding and start with follow on milk?

Generally once they have teeth and can eat solid food, nursing isn’t necessary.

@bijouxbroussard but. The milk is still good for them.. If they start to bite mom's nipples just teach them not to do that
@wunderluv Children grow up. You have to let them. They bite because they’re supposed to be eating foods they can chew.

@bijouxbroussard I do agree with but I think that all extra nutrients and transfered real-time immune system support can't or shouldn't be overlooked plus the bonding that can't be done in any other way
@wunderluv I don’t think it helps a child to refuse to let them grow up and develop. The bonding begins in the womb. They begin teething, indicating it’s time for them to start being weened, in favor of food that they can chew, which helps their teeth develop. The first year and a half should suffice.
