How much do you spend on a wedding gift for a cousin's son or daughter?

My cousin's son is getting married out of state. We won't be able to attend, but want to send a monetary gift. Thanks.

I'm thinking 100 ?
@Coralmist OK, thanks.

100 sounds about right. Between 50 and 200 seems to be where family tends to go for gifts, from what I've seen.
@Carrotbees2 I would like to spend $100, but don't know if I can afford it. We've also had graduations and the bridal shower. I'll just have to wait and see. Thanks.

@Autumnlover You could bring it down a bit , maybe $75...still a good gift in my opinion...

I could see justifying going a little lower, since it's not your cousin, but their son. Depends on how close you are, I guess.
@Coralmist Yes, that would be a good compromise. I have between $50-$100 penciled into the expense budget.
@Carrotbees2 We're not terribly close, but I did see him twice a year when he lived with his parents. He is considered to be my first cousin - once removed so I feel connected to him. Plus, his mother and I were close when we were young.
@Coralmist You convinced me.
