Summer
Is it just me or do kids now spend way too much time in organized programs for summer? Tennis, swimming, etc. Wen I was a teen we just played outside.

There is a thought that good school count the list of things you have done...more line items makes you more valuable.
I think that this is nonsense.
Kids need exposure to a wide range of things so that they cam imagine doing various things beyond school, as well as for being exposed to different ways of looking at the world in order to expand their palette of patterns...
