My son keeps getting suspended from school for fighting, what should i do?
I’ve tried taking away things (phone, tv and xbox) and ive tried grounding him but he just keeps getting kicked out of school.

My son started out as a bully because he was so much bigger than the other kids. He would take their toys away, and was getting out of control. We got really involved with him, and took him to the homes of every single kid he bullied to apologize. He was going all the way bad. He shoplifted and we begged the judge to go hard on him. He got a LOT of community service working at a food pantry, and the pastor complained about him because he was goofing off at the food pantry. I had to beg him not to quit regular high school and go to Vo-Tech. Then he dropped out of high school. The only reason he graduated was because I talked him in to going to night school...and for some reason he was able to handle that.
He ran away from home right afterward. Nothing about it was easy. He was just on that road. He ended up getting a job and got an apartment, and things got a lot better with him once he was in the real world, away from school and away from his parents. Now he is an IT manager for a large company, and doesn't even have a college education.
I wanted to tell you that so that you know that even when things seem really bad with your kids, and you are worried sick, sometimes it turns out all right. Just keep loving him and encourage him to finish school in whatever way he can manage.
