Complicated, parents divorce when I was 1, I lived with my mom, she moved my brother and I to a place we didn't want to live just to piss off my dad,

then when I was in high school and college mom went a little crazy, ended up with a short stay in a padded room, and I moved in with my dad for a few years until I was able to get my life together and be on my own,

as my medical problems increase and health fails a majority of that is behind us now.

I think the understanding between us. Although now, I am getting a vibe of selective understanding from them as they are ageing. Insecurity and insensibility is increasing day by day making it very difficult on my part to keep up with the good times.

Difficult to answer, have a good relation with dad, but don't see him much, only like five, six times a year, but it's always great to be with him. With Mum I'm almost every day, and sometimes it's ok, sometimes it's not... like I said difficult to answer.

I used to with my dad. My relationship with my mom is okay. We get along but she’s got some issues that keep her from having close relationships with anyone.

Yes... I am a trained Carer for dementia patients... It comes in very handy when dealing with my parents... They don't have dementia. Its just easier to think that they do. 😉

Their sacrifices for me , i just can't forget .. Also i feel responsible to take care of them .. :)

I live 1,000 miles away from one and 1,600 from the other. Our relationship is beautiful.

I do, I don't argue, I listen. I am thankful for the time we have left. I agree with most of what the tell me to do, then when I go, I do what I wanted to do anyway. They get on me for it, I say "I know"
Then we do it all over again.

Yes, they are both eccentric people and they have always encouraged us to do what we want. We always have an open dialogue. If I had to give them a grade it would be A-.

Kind of. They take care of me, I am good company to them, and even if we fight we still love each other.
