I'm a father and I want opinions on when you would allow your teenage daughter to wear thongs or g strings?

I know its a strange question but as my daughter ages I cringe as I see girls older than her and what they wear and my GF has a daughter that wears them.

I'd be more concerned about whether or not anyone else is seeing them.
