I'm a father and I want opinions on when you would allow your teenage daughter to wear thongs or g strings?

I know its a strange question but as my daughter ages I cringe as I see girls older than her and what they wear and my GF has a daughter that wears them.

Not trying to be weird or anything, but they are actually very comfortable. It's not unusual for someone to think they are sexy or uncomfortable. But there is also the comfort factor, since they aren't uncomfortable at all. They're easier to carry around too, many benefits to them, not just used for in the bedroom. They were originally made to hide the lines regular underwear makes on some jeans or other clothing(at least I believe, you can look it up.)

@SW-User I can appreciate your opinion, however I know women who think the opposite that they are not comfortable at all.

@oodlesofnoodles Sure there are those people, maybe it's just me, but they are comfortable once you get used to them. And chances are your daughter might find them uncomfortable and never want them again.
I always figured a lot of people wear them, no one has to know I wear them either(No one can tell). I'm not sure how old your daughter is, but she might be more interested in them eventually. Some people do consider it to be something you only wear in the bedroom, but I do believe wearing them under your clothes can still make you feel good about yourself(pretty, attractive, whatever) even if it's just yourself looking at them. Hard to really explain, but that's the reason why my parent's never minded me having them at all. No one is looking at me in them, only myself.

At the end of the day they are only underwear.
EDIT: It's better to feel you look attractive by yourself instead of going to someone else for approval.
