How did/do your parents discipline you?

The discipline my parents used worked well, I never committed the same infractions twice! One of my moms favorite punishments was to have us write the same sentence over and over again, anywhere from 50-1000 times, depending on how bad I'd been. A good thing that came of that is that both my cursive and print, while not particularly pretty, are entirely legible.
