How did/do your parents discipline you?

Spanking me! From age 2-3 it was my aunts hand, from age 4-6 it was my aunts havaianas Flip Flops and age 7-17 it was my aunts belt.

Grounding, spanking, hands ore bottom, (rare), extra chores, corner time (always kneeling), and I have had to write lines also.

My mother was the softer approach: she told me to get to a corner or sit on the sofa to calm down, so when I sat there for a while and calmed down...I asked if I could read a book, that's how I became a bookworm, so it was good for something lol, my father would do that too but he put me down first (in words I mean) saying I was good for nothing and stuff like that, then ordering me to sit down somewhere and shut up.

my mum always smacked my poor bum until I cried, every time I was bad.

The discipline my parents used worked well, I never committed the same infractions twice! One of my moms favorite punishments was to have us write the same sentence over and over again, anywhere from 50-1000 times, depending on how bad I'd been. A good thing that came of that is that both my cursive and print, while not particularly pretty, are entirely legible.

Yes my parents started to use the belt when I was 4. But I can see that I am not the only one.

All three. If it was bad enough, I got scolded, then spanked, then grounded.

I had only had one spanking when I was 13 I broke a window and asked for a spanking

Once in a great while (could probably count the times on one hand), spanking, up until age 11. Otherwise grounding and losing privileges, like tv, telephone or later, driving.
