At what age would you allow your daughter to wear heels?

My oldest is 14 and has been bugging me recently to pick her up some high heels for her to wear out with her friends this fall. When I asked her why she wants them she says she is a high school girl now and wants to look more mature and adult like. I told her I'd think about it. What does everyone think?

@Kathryn05 She is your daughter let her have what she wants if you say to her no you cant wear them but you can have these she will grow to resent and hate you in later life do you really want that ?

You are supposed to spoil you children not restrict them so let her have her shoes ok

@SW-User She's used to asking her parents permission to wear things though. She knows she has a dress code and that it is important for her to follow it.

If i was in a position to give my children what they wanted then i would do so
And when my daughter was 10 she never asked for high heel shoes
