What is a good Father like?

What is it like to have a father who isn't a horrible man and is there for you? I really want to know because I think of most fathers as really bad, scary, and sick in the head.

Seriously, can someone please tell me??

@vikiii, Honestly, I don't know that he'll care enough to think about if it's something worth regretting. The only time he was even remotely there for me was one weekend I stayed at his house, and he physically and verbally abused my siblings and he brainwashes them often, and he also sexually abused me and he wasn't just a horrible father, he was a horrible human being. However, I am very glad that your father came around.
