What is a good Father like?

What is it like to have a father who isn't a horrible man and is there for you? I really want to know because I think of most fathers as really bad, scary, and sick in the head.

Seriously, can someone please tell me??

i have 4 kids i am a father to all of them and they are all treated the same even though 3 are step children. I see a lot of comments about step parents being nasty. Some of us are good loving people and being accepted is the hard part
