yesterday on my 10 hr drive i was eyeing this suspiciously pink cloud

i was like that looks like my mama 🤨 and an hour in it turns into this which is literally my mom


the day before my first mothers day without her i saw a really intense double rainbow by a random cemetary. then on mothers day was another double rainbow. i kept thinking about it for days bc i had never seen double rainbows my whole life, and eventually looked online and it said that rainbows are a sign that your passed love one is at peace. i was like okay universe, if that's true then show me another rainbow this week. then i checked the weather and it was supposed to be sunny for idk, 7+ days. so i was like okay that's that. then i opened up my game in animal crossing and there was a double rainbow c:

so rainbows are straight up my mom, argue with the wall idc. last time i drove to my home state there was a rainbow and there was another this time. like that's her

i put on my dead mom playlist and an hour passes and she had already disappeared. but i checked my rearview mirror right as the line "you know i'm all around you" played. then there she is, a very pretty rainbow in the pink sunset c:

the song itself is about the artist having lost their child i believe, and seeing them in the world around them. i really enjoy my drives because the world is a very beautiful place. i was in a bit of a rush to just get to the hotel last night, but i hope on my way home i can take more scenic routes and maybs some photos too.
