Watch for the signs of her narcissism. Don't allow her to get a foothold in your mind, or you'll lose every time. Stop her actions when they start.
And go in with zero expectations.
You aren't required to like her. If she can't handle the adult interactions, cut her off again.

You aren't obligated, but I really hope it is out of love and concern.
