Happy Mother's Day

I lost my mom more than a decade ago now, but please cherish your own loving mother as long as you can. For one I can't say sorry to her any more in person because she's gone.

I was at certain instances genuinely dreadful towards her. She faced death with such dignity.

I wish that I was only half as decent a human being as she was, but I'm not.

I lost my mom ten years ago; I know the feeling. However, my wife & I have two wonderful grown kids, so we have plenty to celebrate on Mother's Day and Father's Day!

My mother died 49 years ago at the end of June, two days after her 55th birthday. I don't really have good memories of my childhood. And the older I get the more surprised I am that I survived it. I can't think of any good thoughts I have about her.
