It's the worst when he has to leave during the precious moments with our son 😞💔

Lucas was super smiley shortly after he woke up this morning, right up until Desmond had to leave for work. I grabbed little Lucas' arm and made him wave daddy goodbye and he was still all smiling so it was the last thing he saw before leaving. That made him smile but I hate that he has to miss out on so much. I'd love for him to take time off so he can be with us for a week straight, at least. But he wants to save his PTO in case he really needs to take time off. That's fair but also not fair that he has to spend so much time not being able to watch our baby grow. 😔
