Star spent the day with her father
So Star spent the day with her dad since the kids were with Grandma today. She said his evaluation went well but we won't know what the plan is until tomorrow at the family meeting. I was going to go visit him but she said he's really tired and is having a hard time staying awake.
She is worried about the medicine being to strong for him. I did talk to him for a few minutes and he sounded very out of it. He told me not to come and he'd see us all tomorrow. I told him to call if he needed to talk or something. Star said she was going to stay and have dinner with him and watch the Royals game. I think she's doing better. I'm glad she spent the whole day with him.
So I'm getting ready to end my pity party and start dinner. We're having sloppy joes and fresh French fries with fruit salad. And we'll have s'mores for dessert. I'll probably make them inside it is really hot today again. I think Joel needs to avoid the heat for a few more days after Saturday it really wore him out.
