My sister is my best friend.

My sister is my rock and always has been. I am so grateful for her…she has been by my side through it all, & honestly…I remember when I was 10ish, she was 5, and our parents would be fighting…she would sneak into my room and get under my covers. She was such a scared little kid. And truthfully I was also scared sometimes, but I never let it show.
Now as adults, she has told me “your bed is where I felt safest.” How sad is that? But I am so glad she had me, to love and protect her ❤
