Mum - My Role Model

I was given the task of speaking on the topic of role models in peoples lives.

Its a no Brainer that my Mum is my choice any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

I came up with this poem for her in 20 minutes.
I got a standing ovation and an award. And I didn't know Mum was in the crowd also.

Poem

I belong at your feet
But u placed me in your heart
The way you moulded my life
Is a beautiful work of art

You do and sacrifice so much
And ask for so little
You are my strength
When I'm weak and brittle

You are the definition
Of a Mothers Love
And definitely a gift
From the Man Above

Cos all the riches and treasure
Are equal to none
To the Honour and Blessing
Of me being called Your Son
